Gregory Drue Harris of Louisburg Kansas left his earthly life on August 22, 2016 at his home. He was born November 8, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri. He grew up in Kansas City and Belton, Missouri graduating from Belton High School in 1962. He attended San Mateo College in California before returning to the Kansas City area. He was an avid golfer and loved playing the guitar. He also enjoyed his computer and loved all sports and animals. He worked in the area for many years as a master tile setter. After retiring, he moved to Louisburg Kansas and worked part-time for Orscheln's in Louisburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mildred Harris, one brother, Steven Harris and brother-in-law, Bill Fohey.

Survivors include two sisters, Patricia Harris Fohey, Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Gail Harris Knapp, Kidder Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of his life will be at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 Blackbob Road South, Olathe, Kansas at 1:00 pm, 17 September 2016.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs, Kansas City, Missouri.

Inurnment will be at the Mount Moriah Cemetery on Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri at a later date
