On Tuesday, April 7, 2015, God called home Stephen J. Hruska.

Stephen was born to Frank and Mary Hruska on October 16, 1919. Stephen served in World War II in the Army of the United States. Later Stephen married the love of his life, Mary Grandy on September 9, 1950. Stephen and Mary were wonderful foster parents to Cathy Carter, John Patrick Gail and Georgann Pugh. Stephen was an electrician by trade, and retired from the Local Union IBEW 124.

Stephen was preceded in death by his wife Mary, brothers Paul, Hank and Frank, as well as his sisters Rosemary, Marcella and Pat. Stephen leaves behind his daughter, Cathy, son John and daughter Georgann. Stephen was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Stephen, Michael, Christopher, and Bryan Medlin and Cynthia, Melissa and Timothy Ostrander, Jr. as well as 15 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Associations.
