Dorothy Maxine was born to Charles and Bessie (Oldham) Dalrymple on February 12, 1928 in Frankfort, KS. Dorothy graduated from Frankfort High School in 1946. She is preceded in death by her immediate family: two sisters, Edla and Hazel, and one brother, Floyd.

She was married December 12, 1948 in Cleburne, KS to Ernest Willard Isaacson. They were married 12 years. She is survived by their five children: Stanley (Mary) Isaacson, Kansas City, KS; Vickey (Alan) Hill, Centerton, AR; Sandra (Paul) Isaacson-Bynum, Waterville, KS; Janet Noll, Bella Vista, AR; Jennifer (Tracy) Huffman, Paola, KS, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nephew Johnny Cyrene of Manhattan, KS.

She was married April 16, 1961 in Miami, OK to Clyde Merten King. They were married for thirty years. Clyde proceeded her in death on November 23, 1991 at the age of 59.

She was married April 25, 1998 in Eureka Springs, AR to Henry "Hank" Joseph Soetaert.

Dorothy was a mother and a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, crocheting, game shows, soap operas, and, the family favorite, HGTV. She traveled extensively in early retirement and used to square dance and tap dance.

She attended the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church in Bella Vista, AR.

After suffering a severe heart attack, she resided in a nursing home on life support for 4 1/2 years. After her recovery she was able to live with her daughter, Janet, for six years until her death on April 19, 2015 at the age of 87 in Bella Vista, AR.

The pallbearers will be Dorothy's grandsons: Sean Isaacson, Shelby Isaacson, Kevin Psora, Cody Roberts, Bryan Garino, Mathew Huffman, and Chris Thorson. Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her second husband, Clyde King, in Olsburg, KS.
