Velva Woodburn Roulund, 97, passed away April 3, 2016 at Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas.

Velva was born at Byers, Kansas to William “Wig” and Blanche Gee Brown. She graduated as a registered nurse from the Ninnescah School of Nursing and retired as a district nurse consultant from the Kansas State Department of Health.

Velva was preceded in death by her parents; a brother LeRoy; a loving husband of 47 years Pat Woodburn; husband Forrest Roulund and a great grandchild. She is survived by her son Bill Woodburn, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. There will be a private family service. ( Cremation)
