WARREN LEE YACKLE
Warren Lee Yackle passed away April 23, 2015 at Olathe Medical Center Hopice House, Olathe, Kansas.

Warren was born August 17, 1926 to George and Alma Yackle in Hillsdale, Kansas. He was a World War II Veteran who served in Germany – Military Police – Sergeant of the Guard. He was a former post commander and lifetime member of the V.F.W.

Warren wore many hats in his life; father, farmer, welder, realtor, undersheriff in Miami County and police in Ottawa, home builder and fixer of anything. He loved fishing and hunting.

He married Jean Hoelscher on November 10, 1945. To this union six children were born. That marriage ended in 1973. In 1974, he married Betty Boone Burgoon.

Warren was preceded in death by his wife, daughter Dianna, parents, two sisters, and grandson James Whitaker. He is survived by daughter Carol Walker (Larry) of Paola, son Gary Yackle (Christine) of Fontana, daughters Cathy Whitaker (Jerry) of Osawatomie, Karen Jackson (Terry) of Sterling, Barb Green (Fred) of Paola, and Kathy Cragg (John) of Paola, 17 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren.

Donations may be made in his name to Olathe Medical Center Hospice House or the V.F.W. Post 3712 of Paola.
